Our History
Growing up was not easy for Roma. Wanting to finish her studies, Roma became a sponsored child. After years of hard work, passion, and dedication, it all paid off when Roma finished school with a Degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Extremely grateful for being a sponsored child, Roma is actively advocating in helping children. She has been helping others by organizing food drives in her childhood neighbourhood on her birthday. Roma also sends balikbayan boxes full of slippers and clothes for children.
With her desire to help more children and put her dreams into action, Roma and her family came together and built a non-profitable organization called The Happiness Project which is mainly about helping children with their studies.
Our Mission
Main Goal
Education is one of the most important aspects in a person's life. We learn the importance of hard work, passion, dedication, and perseverance thru education. It introduces and makes us ready to a lot of things in life. Ultimately, The Happiness Project’s main goal is to aid families in sending their children to school by providing the support that they need.
Goals
Other than aiding families to send their children to school, The Happiness Project also provides other items that are still of good use. Other programs our team is involved with:
- Feeding program for underweight children
- Donation of clothes, toys and books to children
- Donation of used laptops, phones, tablets and iPads for children to use for their online class
- Giving candies to kids during Easter, Halloween and Christmas.
- Granting a few children's Christmas wishes.
- Donating relief goods to the victim of calamities.
- Raising money for the families that needs financial assistance for their hospital bills.

True to our main goal, it is significantly important for our team and volunteers to adhere with the The Happiness Project’s five core values:

- Always be willing to lend a hand especially to vulnerable children.

- Work with all our heart in this very valuable project.
- Believing on "No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted and sharing is caring".
